Moth Game Prototype
Prototype of an atmospheric moth survival game - ignore the repeated assets and floating house, this is only intended to be a proof of concept.
The intention is to create a sense of paranoia or stress - when not in the light you are slowly losing energy which forces you back towards it, but being in the light attracts the bird which will hunt you. It forces you to always be alert, scanning your surroundings, like a prey animal approaching the watering hole.
Avoid the bird, but don't stray too far from the light!
Mouse to move the camera, WASD to move, space to go up, CTRL to descend (although beware of closing the window with CTRL+W).
Goal is for the world to be procedurally generated from pre-built chunks, with houses containing humans with fly-swatters and angry cats. As you stay in the light you grow, and at specified size increments you transition to another mode of gameplay e.g. body grows too heavy so you are forced to walk; you become too large to fit through windows and must fly to a city where there is more light etc.
